My piece, is influenced by da Vinci’s  ‘Last Supper,’ 1948, which has been recreated many times. Drawing little from the ancient images and instead adapting images from my own sources, the declaration of my interest will precede any notion over the formal or vital components of the original classical piece. Art piece from American conceptual artist Barbara Kruger ‘Untitled, (You Invest in the Divinity of the Masterpiece) 1982, (fig #1) will have an influence on my view of Da Vinci’s ‘Last Supper.’ Her style emphasizes and at the same time criticizes the moment of creation. She draws the viewer into her art piece through her statement ‘You Invest into the Divinity of the Masterpiece’ and questions why the lack of a female is palpable followed by her reasoning of ‘because a man painted the image.’
