Just a tabby

This picture is of my beautiful Hollie. She's just a tabby but shes very sweet (and bossy). I wanted capture the different colours in her fur which changes with different lights. Any cat lover will adore this cute painting to brighten a room. It is framed with a wire hanger and also a picture stand so can sit on a shelf or table. The frame is a gold/bronze colour and works beautifully with the colours in the cat.

I am an artist who takes her inspiration from nature. I give back to our environment and a percentage of sales of my art is given to wildlife rescues to save our precious and unique wildlife.

I live in Lake Macquarie, two hours north of Sydney and it really is the best place in the world to live. I watch the sunrise over the white sands and thunderous ocean and the sunset over the tranquility of Lake Macquarie. The bush is on my doorstep and I love nature in all its glory. I draw my inspiration from my surroundings and my paintings often showcase the brightest of blues to match the Australian summer sky and the bright colours of our native flowers and birds.

I am not confined to one style of painting. I do everything from quirky bright animals to brighten a child's nursery in acrylics to detailed pastels of animals and flowers.
