A contemporary painting of the Australian bush featuring my signature style trees.
The painting is inspired by my walks into the bushlands near my home. On a particular day close to dusk the sky lit the trees in a magical light. I had to paint my impression!

Hi there and welcome to my Bluethumb gallery.
I am an artist living on the south coast of NSW. I paint in oils, acrylics, and watercolour and am inspired by my love of nature and the ocean close to where I live between the mountains and the sea. Basically self taught I have been interested in art my whole life.
I have exhibited in many group and solo exhibitions over my 40 plus years of making art and have been twice a finalist in the James Kiwi watercolour prize and the Meroogal Women’s art prize
It has been a passion to take groups painting in Europe since 2016
My motto is ” Paint with heart and soul for that is when the magic happens”
