Fantasy Flowers

This artwork was inspired by a botanical illustration and then developed into a s ience fiction fantasy artwork from the imagination. I love surface patterns which inspired the shallow pot. The soft brush strokes of the centre flower is not my usual painting technique but it contributed to the fantasy feeling of the work. All my framed work use upcycled frames and may contain minor defects.

I am a self taught artist of Chinese/ French origins. I am currently painting with acrylics on canvas, however I love other media including markers, ink, technical pen, textiles and papercraft.
The subject matters I explore include dinosaurs, fashion, nature and still life. My work showcases strong and vivid colour palettes.
I love all things vintage which influence my work.
I have self published two short comics, a children's picture book and an art instruction book called Brain Wave. I have hosted various art workshops for all ages in my home town of Lake Macquarie.
I have a diploma in Graphic Design (2025).
I have participated in group exhibitions in Newcastle and have had two solo exhibitions at Lake Macquarie libraries.
