Artwork Description

This artwork is inspired by the women who work together and share morning tea. The pears have dual meaning in that they reflect the varying shapes of the women on staff as well as the foods they tend to eat to maintain a healthy diet. The knives stuck to the canvas also have double meaning in that they are an instrument to cut the pears as well as a symbol of each woman's potential to cause harm.
