Little Messenger

Some people believe birds are messengers to heaven. This painting is about losing people that you love and wishing you could still talk to them.
So I'm sending my bird Buddy with messages to my loved ones in heaven.

Inspiration for my work comes from anything and everything, from past memories, stories I've heard, people, nature and animals. I love using texture and colour in my paintings, so will often use beads, buttons, lace, fabric and modelling paste.
