I am primarily a landscape artist living and working in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. I am drawn to the amazing light and vibrant colours of the Australian natural environment. Most of my works reflect familiar beaches and headlands around Albany and Bremer Bay, but also includes other remarkable remote Australian locations I visit.
Connecting with nature is associated with lowered stress levels and improved happiness and wellbeing. My art celebrates the joy arising from connecting with the magnificent Australian natural environment. Through the ethereal textures and vibrant colours of soft pastels, I express the joy and beauty I discover in the places where I live, work and travel. All my creations are either based on my own original photography or en plein air (painted outdoors on site). All works are crafted with the highest quality professional materials. All frames are custom-made in Albany.
