Katina is a self taught artist currently residing in Geelong, Victoria. Inspired to pick up the paintbrush in quiet moments during the pandemic lock down, Katina draws inspiration from the world around us, her dreams, music and inspirational human achievement. Having focused on digital and 3D art in the past, Katina has since found great joy in more traditional mediums, with a focus on expression through watercolur and oil painting.
Katina chooses to embody a romanticised view of the world, with the majority of her pieces capturing snapshots of nature and beauty. Her work attempts to remind us that though the world can often be a testing and challenging arena, wonder can be found almost anywhere - if we only take a moment to look for it.
