Artwork Description

I dream those dreams again. Is this random or some kind of suggestion telling me about something in the future? This abstracted group of unidentified forms and unstable lines explores the recurring dreaming experiences painted in dark-brownish contemporary thought. The coloured objects reflects about the clouding dreams that floats around like a story that cannot together. They are subjective and intangible that can or cannot relate to everyday life that may reflect in different moods of happiness, struggling and sadness. After all, whether or not those dreams are good. The life must go on.

Artist Bio

Talia, Kawittha Kasiwong (Thai-born Australian Artist)

Inspired by moments in everyday life, Talia creates various styles of arts from line drawing to abstract art. She is a self-thought emerging artist and freelance graphic designer. Her passion for art has been growing and it is inspirational for her to learn every bit of the people and city and turn them into a piece of art. Talia has her own unique styles of unfinished lines, unidentified forms and abstract expressionism which her work is illustrated in various mediums from digital to mixed-media paintings on canvas. Talia started a design studio in Melbourne called Anchovy Toastie where her painting collections are displayed. She has joined group exhibitions such as Melbourne Design Fringe 2024 at Linden New Art Gallery, Flourish at Brunswick Street Gallery and The Interaction Show at the Holy Art Gallery in London.

Most art works are multi-disciplinary paintings in different designs & concepts from minimalist to contemporary with a huge obsession in everyday life and abstract. All ideas and creatives are from observation on various perspectives such as random people outside, outstanding colours experienced in daily life as well as fashion & decorative things around. The main technique of my painting is hand-drawn scribbling and sketching by using different ink brushes and the pencils with freeform on texturing and shaping a bit of grainy, shading and shadowing.

Anchovy Toastie Studio is an independent design studio, focusing on physical painted works in mixed media, digital illustration and branding design, solo run by Talia.
