Artwork Description

The Pinjarra Massacre was one of the most brutal and notorious attacks on the Aboriginal peoples in Australian history. It took place in 1834 in the town of Pinjarra south of Perth Western Australian.
a group of Noongar people were attacked by a detachment of 25 soldiers, police and settlers led by Governor James Stirling. On the defending side an uncertain of Binjareb men, women and children were killed.
The Pinjarra Massacre was the culmination of increasing tension and violence between newly arrived settlers who were appropriating the land for farming.

Artist Bio

Nature prevails in providing inspiration for my artwork. From the most expansive vista to to the smallest of life forms , the ever-changing natural environment offers limitless material for artistic exploration, experimentation and expression.

I paint many different styles using different techniques for each different painting or design, using a combination of oil paints and acrylic on canvas and also all types of different textured surfaces, frescoes, wall murals and freehand decorative finishes.

I am highly motivated and organised, with a flexible approach to new projects and challenges.
A lot of my painting are in collections all around the world.
Painting at a very young age in my childhood which established my profession for a lifelong career.
