Lately I've been inspired by the night sky and capturing the moon in different stages of its cycle. Trees and objects in the landscape can appear in a different form when at night and the light has changed. It gives freedom to my brushstrokes and I feel more confident in leaving first marks without correcting to what I know the object to be. I've been finding joy in this imperfection.
