Artwork Description

This work presents a highly detailed crocodile skull resting upon a plain white stone table.
Once a powerful apex predator, the skull is shown not as a trophy but as quiet stillness—weightless, suspended beyond life.

At its core, the work reflects on the inevitability of endings—not only of life, but of moments of intensity and unrest. What once felt immense and unrelenting will, in time, be met with stillness.

Artist Bio

Thank you for visiting my profile. I am a self taught oil painting artist whose subject matter is predominantly about nature and still life objects.

Sometimes I see things as if my eyes have opened for the first time and with an overwhelming sense of wonder and gratitude. The act of painting is my attempt to somehow capture those moments. I like to think of myself as a collector of evanescent feelings rather than only a painter. At the heart of my practice is wabi-sabi—finding beauty in impermanence, simplicity, and the imperfect beauty found in everyday life. Through my work, I hope to share this sense of presence and appreciation, inviting viewers to pause and see the extraordinary within the ordinary.
