Original Artwork's Description

I just love beaches and the Australian coastline. This is particular spot is just amazing to just sit and view the pristine water, dunes and calmness of the waves. Perfect spot for the children. It comes unframed so the collector can frame to their choosing. Would look fabulous on any blank wall in your home or office, reception area. You can just imagine you are there without leaving your home.........

Artist Bio

I am an Award winning self taught Artist.

My art journey began in 1993 having had a lesson in Decorative art and haven't stopped painting since. When I joined the Pastel Society I received a second and a third Prize at their annual Pastel exhibition in the Alexander Awards.

I received a Third prize for a acrylic painting on canvas and also the Faye Boyd Art School Scholarship at the Clarence River Art Festival in 2018.

I won First Prize for Best Pastel which was a sunrise seascape 'Breaking Through' at the Lions Art Extravaganza in Brisbane in 2016.

I have previously exhibited my work in The Old Schoolhouse Gallery in Cleveland Qld. Since moving to the Clarence Valley I now exhibit at the Ferry Park Gallery in Maclean N.S.W. and Iluka Emporium Iluka N.S.W.

I love painting in Pastel, Acrylic, oil, watercolour and Mixed Media and enjoy painting seascapes, sunrises, sunsets, landscapes, waves, birds, florals and abstracts.

My inspiration comes from the world around us. Being an artist you certainly take more notice of our wonderful landscape fauna and flora.

I love my photography, so I have many reference photos to choose from as inspiration for my artwork.

Since moving to the Clarence Valley from Brisbane, the inspiration never stops. I just need more hours in a day to fit everything in!!

I hope you enjoy my art as much as I enjoy creating it for you.
