involved in the design and manufacture of life-size (and larger) fibreglass birds, animals, dinosaurs and playground art etc.
My own art is a unique combination of the skills and techniques I have been using and perfecting, for most of my working life.
My paintings/sculptures are mainly life-size 3D australian birds and animals sitting on the frame of original acrylic paintings...ready to hang on the wall.
The animals and birds etc. are hand sculpted in great detail onto the frame, in artist's clay.
A silicone mold is then made of both the 3D sculpture and frame.
A final reinforced fibreglass cast is then made, primed and hand painted with acrylics.
