Semi abstract original landscape. This painting depicts an (all too) common vision of the Australian bush in Summer. Clear skies are shrouded by the smoke from a distant bushfire. Whilst these fires are often quite damaging, they provide a dramatic backdrop to the local landscape as well as a unique and interesting art study. In this painting, the landscape plays a subsidiary role to the dominant vision of the billowing grey fire and smoke-filled sky.
