Artwork Description

This acrylic landscape painting captures a serene yet desolate winter vista. Under a vast, overcast sky that dominates the upper composition, fading into a hazy horizon, rolling hills blanketed in snow undulate across the foreground. Patches of earthy brown peek through the white drifts, suggesting thawing or wind-swept terrain, evoking a sense of quiet isolation and the subtle interplay of light and shadow in a frigid environment

This painting is unframed but all edges have been painted to establish a seamless aesthetic suitable for immediate hanging. Examples of a (possible) framed work are included in some of the photographs for illustration purposes only. Note: The purchaser can elect to frame the painting (floating frame) at the purchaser's local framer if desired.

Artist Bio

Keith is an award winning artist who finds endless inspiration in the intricate beauty of nature, captivated by its vivid colors, rich diversity, and delicate fragility.

Growing up in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, he cherished countless days by the beach and harbor, immersing himself in the sensory delights of this wonderful marine environment. Family trips to various coastal retreats introduced him to a slower, gentler rhythm of life, where the hues of the sea, forests, and farmlands etched themselves into his memory.

Days exploring the tranquil lakes, rivers and their environs deepened his appreciation for the Australian landscape including farmland and forest mirrored in the glassy waters of the south coast of NSW. Visits to his uncle’s farm in Tenterfield further shaped his artistic vision, revealing the resilience and vulnerability of rolling green fields, so easily marked by drought or bushfire. Keith is now settled in the coastal haven of Port Stephens.

His works, whether rooted in reality or woven from imagination, spring from a lifetime of experiences, emotions, and the vibrant palette that resides within him.

Through his art, Keith invites others to pause, observe, and discover the same vivid beauty that surrounds them every day.
