⁃ The Space Between -
Such joy to pause and see life unfolding
and all the spaces in between.
Going with and in the flow,
we wander along the bustling path.
Families, friends and hounds abound;
Lots of chatter fills the air,
blending to a happy hum.
A boat putts past with kids in toe,
with raucous laughter from a flamingo afloat
soon overtaken as pounding runners approach,
then comes the ding ding of the bicycle folk.
The places filled with grass & trees & birds & more,
inviting us to slow a while as our eyes explore
the flowers of the season in full bloom,
soon offering their seeds to carry on,
leaving us beautiful pods with empty spaces.
Such joy to pause and see life unfolding
and all the spaces in between.
