Artwork Description

This painting celebrates the quiet companionship between a child and a beloved dog. Seated side by side against a soft, textured background, the pair share a moment of stillness that speaks to friendship, trust and the simple comfort of being together.

Part of my ongoing exploration of nostalgia and connection, this work is inspired by treasured childhood memories and the special bonds we form with animals. The simplified figures invite viewers to bring their own stories and memories to the piece, making the experience both personal and familiar.

Painted in acrylic and presented in a natural timber float frame, The Mint Choc Chip is designed to bring warmth, comfort and a sense of gentle reflection to any space.
