Hello! I'm a local Mackay Artist who loves everything nature. I create my art using traditional painting techniques. My main subjects are nature and home life. I paint illustrative floral watercolours on artist paper, impressionist still life and landscapes with acrylic on canvas, and ink and graphite line drawings on artist paper. I am a self-taught Artist with a Diploma in Visual Arts from Central Queensland University.

I am inspired by the old masters, Waterhouse, Turner, and Matisse, and also lots of Contemporary Artists, there are always so many great Artists out there! Present-day activities such as walks in nature, gardening, reading, swimming, and outdoor camping also inspire my painting ideas.

For me, to be a practising Artist is to learn new ways of improving myself and my painting techniques whilst sharing my wonderful creations with all of you.
