Born and based in Adelaide, I’m an Australian artist creating expressive figurative, portrait and nature-inspired paintings. My work is driven by colour, character and emotion, often balancing bold visual impact with quieter layers of storytelling.
After many years working in the health and social services sector, painting became a way to restore balance and reconnect with creativity. It has since grown into my full-time practice, with a focus on contemporary work combining intuitive colour, layered texture and emotive storytelling.
My recent work includes the Blooming Veil series, exploring the figure through florals, colour and concealment, alongside character-driven portraiture and my distinctive larger-scale Australian bird paintings. I work primarily in acrylic and mixed media, with oils used in selected works.
