Barn Owl Under The Moonlight

Original artwork of a barn owl under the moonlight. The canvas is 280 cotton duck, has been triple coated with a universal primer and is a single thick discovery mont marte canvas (as shown in the photos). The canvas has a pine frame, sustainably sourced and durable. The painting has also been varnished with Micador Picture Varnish Matt Spray, so the painting will not yellow or become brittle with age and can be easily kept clean gently with a microfibre cloth.

I’m an emerging artist based in Geelong, Victoria. I have a love and appreciation for animals, and am currently painting and drawing portraits of both wild and domestic animals on paper and canvas respectively. My main mediums of focus include drawing using pencil and charcoal as well as painting in acrylic and watercolour. I also have an interest in painting landscapes in watercolour. I have spent the last two years training in the Visual Arts at Oxygen College and am certified in both Certificate III and IV.
