Art has always been a big part of my life and something I’ve naturally come back to over the years. What started as a lifelong love of creating has grown into a more personal and consistent practice, shaped by motherhood and the way I choose to live day to day. I live in Adelaide with my two kids, my husband, and our dog, and a lot of my creativity happens alongside everyday life. It’s not separate from it—it fits in around it.
My work is driven by colour, composition, and the way different elements interact on the canvas. I like building up layers, adding texture, and letting things evolve as I go. A piece will often change direction a few times before it finally feels right. I’m drawn to bold shapes, interesting colour combinations, and small details that give the artwork a bit more depth the longer you look at it.
I take a lot of inspiration from interiors and how art sits within a space. I want my pieces to feel at home in someone’s space—something that adds warmth and personality.
