Artwork Description

The beauty of nature and those special places we have all visited, A Sense of Wonder, was inspired by this. The bouncing of light through the trees reflecting the joy of nature. As an avid runner/cyclist I have been lucky to witness many an early morning sunrise of beauty. I really enjoy painting impressionist works of this nature.

The artwork is a large piece with many layers of acrylic paint and varnish for longevity. Signed with a Certificate of Authenticity.

A delightful piece that attracts the viewer from any angle in the room they maybe standing.

Artist Bio

Bachelor of Fine Art (Painting) 2017 Curtin University.

It goes unnoticed, we move to the rhythm, the repetition begins......
A decision, an interaction, an experience; a daily occurrence in the conversation of life. We dance to the beat sometimes fast, sometimes slow, but the pulse of life encapsulates us all.

In my artwork I love to explore nature and humanity, what inspires us in the everyday. I look for emotion and perspective in each piece I create whether I am working in impressionism, abstract or clay, each piece will have its own visual language. My impressionism artworks will always capture light: reflections on water, pathways, roads and buildings to mention a few. Abstraction I love to work with colour and plenty of it!! My clay pieces are peaceful and serene, I work with faces and nature on freestanding pieces or wall mounts.

I have been painting since 2007 and finished my Fine Art Degree in 2017. I usually work with a lot of layers of acrylic paint and find timber/canvas are the best support for my work. Once finished I use multiple layers of varnish for longevity and a brilliant gloss finish.
