This piece was inspired by the concept of emotional duality — the coexistence of joy and introspection, represented through vivid blue and pink droplets radiating outward. The dynamic contrast of cool and warm tones against the black background evokes a sense of movement and energy, while the teardrop shapes suggest both release and renewal. Together, they create a visual rhythm that reflects the ebb and flow of feeling.

My name is Keren, and I’m a visual artist working primarily with acrylic and watercolour. Based in Brisbane, I’ve been creating and selling artwork locally, inspired by the emotional power of contrast and the tactile richness of texture.

My work often features bold combinations—vibrant teal, ocean blue, and deep reds brought to life against rich black backgrounds. I’m drawn to the tension and harmony that exist between colors and textures, and I use this interplay to create pieces that feel both vivid and layered.

Texture is a central part of my creative process. I love exploring the subtle differences in surface and form, using them to add depth and movement to each composition.
