I have been drawing and painting for over 35 years, working mainly in acrylic paint, charcoal, pastel and ink. I studied visual art as part of a Graduate Diploma in Arts Therapy, a Visual Arts course and Graphics as part of a Diploma in Teaching. I am inspired by nature and the beauty of the Earth around me, often painting flowers and plants from my garden and elsewhere, attempting to portray the vibrancy of life which I see and feel.
Other subjects I enjoy painting include: different places I have travelled to; microcosms which reflect in the macrocosm, and vice versa; the cosmos and sacred geometry. I have many interests and enjoy delving into the mystery of the reality of the world we live, seen and unseen.
