Three figures stand together in a quiet, suspended space, their forms both human and otherworldly. Their faces dissolve into flame-like structures, suggesting presence without identity — as if they are holding or witnessing something just beyond visibility.

The composition is still and grounded, yet charged with subtle energy. A small, glowing form between them hints at a shared focus or exchange, creating a sense of connection without narrative resolution.

Cool blue tones contrast with warm gold and amber light, giving the work a layered atmosphere that shifts between calm and intensity.

Painted in oils on timber panel, the surface is built through layered glazes, creating depth, softness, and a gentle, tactile texture that responds to changing light. The work is presented in a stained timber floating frame with a gold gilded edge.

Her work explores symbolic inner landscapes, drawing on elements of mythology, storytelling, and the unknown. Through painting, she creates atmospheric scenes that sit between the real and the surreal, where light, form, and colour suggest moments of transformation and reflection.

Working primarily in oils and mixed media, Kerry builds layered surfaces to create depth, ambiguity, and a sense of quiet intensity. Her paintings invite viewers into a space of contemplation, where familiar forms begin to shift and open into something less certain.

Kerry has exhibited in group exhibitions across Naarm, including Brunswick Street Gallery and Darebin Art Salon. She has also completed the Expanded Practice Program at The Art Room, a mentored professional development program focused on refining artistic direction and building a sustainable practice.
