Artwork Description

Truly reminiscent of an era when it was the norm to climb neighbours fences to see if our friends were home to play, for some reason that was more common than docking on a door. Fun memories of scrumping fruit from neighbours trees, playing in the mud to create things from long grass, twigs, rocks and anything we could find. Mulberry mud is a painting created from the fondest of memories.

Artist Bio

Brushstrokes of Compassion: The Journey of an International Artist.

In the realm where art and altruism intertwine, there exists a remarkable figure whose canvases serve as both a reflection of beauty and a beacon of hope. Born in WAGGA WAGGA -Place of many crows I flew from the nest and I’m still flying high to places such as the icy expanse of Antarctica, to the baron lands of Africa. I’ve emerged into a world where the stark landscapes ignite a passion for painting that carries me across continents and cultures. From the frigid reaches of the South Pole to the bustling streets of global metropolises, my artistic odyssey became a conduit for spreading awareness and extending aid to those afflicted by the enigmatic WILLIS EKBOM DISEASE. [RLS]

Early Beginnings:
My journey as an artist commenced within the embrace of a family deeply rooted in the creative art and musicians . Spanning five generations artists that also suffered of Willis Ekbom disease R.L.S I am one of ten sufferers in my family. The legacy of artistic expression coursed through my veins when I held my first crayons. At the age of seven, I embarked on a journey of discovery through private lessons, where the canvas became my sanctuary and abstract colours whispered tales of boundless imagination during the long sleepless nights suffering RLS.
Throughout my 25-year tenure in real estate and art, I've discovered a profound synergy between the two worlds. Despite adversity my attitude is one of pure positivity and deep love and compassion for people which has translated into bright , bold , vibrant, colourful happy art which evokes pure joy to every home whether rented or owned.

A Brush with Compassion:
My love of peoples has compelled me to raise awareness and provide assistance to those in Australia and in distant lands who require medical support. More children suffer from RLS than Epilepsy ! With a percentage of my art sales allocated directly to aiding individuals in need, whether for travel expenses, medication, or treatments, each stroke of my brush becomes a beacon of hope for a disease that isolates the sufferer and destroys relationships.
My Passion for art runs deep , my love of people runs deeper.
