I first encountered the evergreen, and very fragrant, frangipani when living in Townsville, North Queensland. This specimen can be seen on the banks of the Brisbane River, South Bank. Using the Triptych technique on the one surface gave the opportunity to create the feeling that this frangipani is growing through a window giving the painting extra dimension.
