Watercolour on paper

Signed on the front.

This painting of the glorious tibouchina shrub shows the effect that the strong sub-tropical light has on the blooms. The shrub has varieties with blooms from pink through to a rich mauve colour. This painting won 1st prize in the Australian Artist Magazine's 'Flowers and Gardens' competition and published in the June 2012 edition of the magazine. The painting comes with a copy of the magazine and a set of 5 greetings cards featuring the image.
