Mr. He Chengbin (何承斌), a native of Lanzhou City, graduated from the Art Department of Zhangye Teachers College (currently He Xi College) in 1980 . He studied under the guidance of the Chinese master artists and sculptors Luo DaiKui (罗代奎)and Mr. He E (何鄂), and benefited from the teachings of many other renowned artists. Over the years, he has been engaged in art teaching and has mastered traditional Chinese ink painting, as well as being proficient in oil painting, watercolour painting, sculpture, and illustration. In 1999, he moved to Sydney, Australia, and has since persistently used Chinese ink painting techniques to depict Australian scenery and multiculturalism. Many of his works have been exhibited, published, awarded, and collected both domestically and internationally. He currently serves as the Vice President of the Australian Academy of Painting.
