Still life with plant

Adding a bit more colour to the work. I tried to capture the form and depth of the plant in a slightly 'unfinished style' I was inspired by the intersting contrast in line and colour of the plant against the background.

An emerging visual artist born in South Korea, immigrated to and grew up in New Zealand and now based in Sydney, Australia. Reflecting these changes in environment Kevin's practice is concerned with portraying places he has often visited in a interpretative way using traditional painting techniques in oil, acrylic and watercolour. He seeks to capture the beauty contained in the natural landscapes and in still life objects 'on site' to convey the visual zeitgeist.
