Under the Cave

Each cave dome was creating with multiple layers of texture paste and paint, then added depth with two toned brush strokes. background started as a wash burgundy, pinks and yellows then I added a white wash over the top and used a carving tool to create multiple lines.

The canvas is mounted on a pine frame and ready to hang.

There's a real joy for me in the process of creating, especially when it involves layering vibrant colours and textures.
My abstract explorations often involve a curiosity for dynamic lines, playful shapes, the depth of shading, and a natural sense of flow.
At the heart of it, I'm an artist aiming to create pieces that are both enjoyable and a little unique.
