This artwork is of a girl picking flowers for a bouquet. When creating the artwork I didn't realise that both the flowers depicted in this artwork, roses and purple wisteria, are flowers that symbolise love. I decided to lean into this and named the piece, Transcendent devotion: love that goes beyond one lifetime.
This artwork is made with oil pastels and has a glossy sealant.
