Across the Road from Lake Garda While the artist, Kim Blackshaw, lived in London, she travelled with her family to many countries close to the UK. On this occasion they travelled to Lake Garda in Italy. The streets surrounding the lake were beautiful and Kim spent many hours wandering and taking photos. This street, in particular, took her fancy and she decided to turn it into a lino print. Using the method chine colle, the artist used a paint colour chart, to print her lino on top of to create an interesting background.
