This glorious piece resulted from the Wednesday night drawing club at the Bellingen Brewery. 'The Dead Flower Society' is set in an old out building that is very dark in winter resulting in dramatic lighting. This composition really took my fancy and I just had to capture the darks and warm honey colours. The central design and mostly square shape makes is a very modern composition while holding true the the Still Life genre.
