This piece was built up using many layers, adding and subtracting shapes and colour using oil paint, thick oil sticks and messy lines of oil pastel.

It has a lot of energy and colour so would easily lift and add interest to any room with it's positive and happy vibes.

Kim is an artist based in Ocean Shores who has a lot of fun painting colourful abstract landscapes. Kim is your go to artist if you’re looking for interesting and emotive work that you’ll never tire of looking at. Working primarily with oil paint, she builds her paintings through layers of bold messy brushstrokes, fine pastel lines and contrasting textures. Her process is deeply intuitive, embracing spontaneity and trust to create expressive, energetic works. Kim was a textile designer for 15 years in her own product business where she would hand paint elements that became her signature Autralian flora designs. After selling her business in 2022 she has embraced her path now as a full time emerging abstract painter.
