Based on the biblical concept of marine spirits , the mermaid depicted is jezebel spirit the snake coming from her hair represents the spirit of envy. The man depicted holds the world in his hands , it is up to the viewer to decide whether he is a godlike presence with his halo or using divination . The girl behind is floating to the surface receiving Lightcodes to guide her out of perilous waters.

I create mostly figurative art, I had a strong desire to capture light in painting.
I am led to paint certain subjects intuitively and many of my subjects are based in folklore and have a spiritual meaning .
I also hope to use some of the images to create a children’s book .
