Artwork Description

I was drawn to make a painting of the 3 graces. Traditionally they are three women with linked hands 2 facing forward and one away, in my version they are enjoying each other’s company in peaceful space . The stars being fed into the sky are to symbolise a favourable change in destiny to come.

I have studied part time at The Julian Ashton art school and Waverley art school.
I create mostly figurative art, I had a strong desire to capture light in painting.
I am led to paint certain subjects intuitively and many of my subjects are based in folklore and have a spiritual meaning .
I also hope to use some of the images to create a children’s book .
