Kim Lundy is a is a painter who enjoys exploring, learning, working with and combining many mediums.
Kim was born in Paris, France to parents that were at the time exploring Europe. She moved to Australia as a baby. While growing up her family moved around a lot, living in Browns Plains and Jimboomba in Queensland. While living in Jimboomba the family lived in a caravan on farmland while her father built the family home. Unfortunately, due to a recession the family of five came to NSW for work living in a one-bedroom unit with Kimโs โNonnaโ in Kogarah and then moving to a caravan park at Lansdowne. When Kim was in primary school the now family of six moved to Ruse, later also living in Leumeah and Appin (NSW).
Kim moved to the Hunter Valley in 1999 to be with her now husband after meeting him as a mature aged student at the University of Armidale while completing a Bachelor of Commerce. Mother of two boys, living on acreage in Branxton since 2003.
In 2017 Kim joined a group of local Branxton ladies who got together once a week to paint, quickly remembered the passion she had for art when she was in high school.
After spending time in hospital in 2019 Kim realised the importance of being true to yourself and decided to actively pursue a career in art.
