Kim loves creating watercolour landscapes and animal paintings in small to medium works. She is inspired by nature and loves all things animals. Situated in the beautiful Murrumbidgee Country, Kim creates art for enjoyment, beauty and tranquillity. Working with watercolour paint, acrylic paint, graphite and watercolour pencil, she aims to capture the raw beauty of the land and its inhabitants. Kim enjoys listening to creative podcasts, reading marketing and creative business books, and watching creative youtube tutorials. Kim has successfully completed a Natural History Illustration course from Newcastle University and is currently studying Surface Pattern Design. Kim regularly creates watercolour wreath Bible verse art - frequently requested by friends and family. Her paintings are an outpouring of appreciation of life, purpose, colour and the natural Australian environment. Kim enjoys working in moody blues, powerful purples, natural tans and pretty pinks. βI love gathering inspiration for my artworks from the natural world around me,' says Kim, βI have a strong appreciation for the land, particularly farmland and the bush, and it brings me great joy to know others enjoy my work too.β
