In Australia our freedoms are limited and our love isn't always recognised. There are people in the world facing more significant problems with much bigger hurdles to overcome, and keeping that perspective makes our obstacle seem that much more achievable and within our grasp.
This painting is currently a finalist in the Cliftons Art Prize and will be exhibited until 20 December 2017.
