Artwork Description

This painting captures a bouquet in full bloom, alive with soft pinks, warm yellows, and fresh greens gathered gently in a simple vessel. The flowers open freely, painted with loose, expressive strokes that give them movement and life, as if they are growing right before our eyes.

Some petals fall, some lean, and nothing feels perfectly arranged — yet the bouquet shines with quiet strength and beauty. The dark background makes the blooms glow even brighter, reminding us that growth often happens despite the challenges around us.

“Look at Me Blooming Anyway” is about resilience — choosing to grow, heal, and flourish even when conditions aren’t perfect. It celebrates the courage to keep blooming, no matter what.

Medium - Acrylics
Varnished in satin finish and framed with a oak floating frame.

The artwork is ready to hang and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Artist Bio

I am a Canberra-based artist creating contemporary impressionistic works inspired by colour, nature, and emotional resilience. My practice is deeply intuitive, drawing on bold, luminous hues influenced by my Indian heritage and the expansive Australian landscape.

My artistic journey began as a form of healing during a transformative period in my life, where painting became both refuge and expression. Through layered textures, organic mark making, and expressive brushstrokes, my work explores themes of joy, spirituality, and connection to the natural world.

I work across multiple mediums including acrylics, oil pastels, charcoal, and inks, allowing each piece to evolve through experimentation and instinct. I often begin with a prayer or affirmation, embedding intention into the surface of the canvas. My aim is to create immersive works that invite reflection, warmth, and a quiet sense of uplift.
