I created this painting during a deeply inspiring and educational period while completing Creative Visionary Program 2026. It taught me to begin with play, curiosity, and connection rather than focusing on the finished result. As the painting developed, I embraced the differences between each flower, colour, and brushstroke instead of trying to make everything uniform. The result is a joyful arrangement that reflects the idea that individuality and connection can exist together. I hope this piece brings warmth, optimism, and a sense of abundance to the home it becomes part of.

Titled 'Saturday sun' because that's when I would catch up on most of my course material and practice.

Comes varnished in satin. Stretched canvas, without the floating frame. Ready to hang.

I am a Canberra-based artist creating contemporary impressionistic works inspired by colour, nature, and emotional resilience. My practice is deeply intuitive, drawing on bold, luminous hues influenced by my Indian heritage and the expansive Australian landscape.

My artistic journey began as a form of healing during a transformative period in my life, where painting became both refuge and expression. Through layered textures, organic mark making, and expressive brushstrokes, my work explores themes of joy, spirituality, and connection to the natural world.

I work across multiple mediums including acrylics, oil pastels, charcoal, and inks, allowing each piece to evolve through experimentation and instinct. I often begin with a prayer or affirmation, embedding intention into the surface of the canvas. My aim is to create immersive works that invite reflection, warmth, and a quiet sense of uplift.
