Artwork Description

This piece is a celebration of the wild and vibrant beauty of the Summerland Peninsula on Phillip Island, Australia. I was struck by the stark difference of Australia's coastlines compared to the bush scenery that is so rightly admired and strongly associated with our country. I wanted to capture an impression of the energy in the wind and waves, and to emphasize the intense colors of the scenery.
