Autumn mandala

The Australian mandala series are based on the concept of the Buddhist mandala. A cosmic design of the universe upon which to contemplate and meditate our place in life. I have replaced the religious connotation of this with one that is spiritual in the sense of a connection with our Australian bush and wildlife.
The autumn mandala represents a slowing down of the seasons and a time for gathering and nurturing. Like a traditional mandala the painting has no up or down, so can be hung 4 ways.
