Charles Darwin said ‘It is not the strongest that survives, nor the most intelligent. It is the one that is most adaptable to change.’
That idea resonates deeply with me. Quite often what we see is a collision
between wildlife and domestic life… between nature and agriculture… between living creatures and the machinery shaping our world. As we push further into their spaces, adaptation becomes not a choice, but a necessity.
Bathed in otherworldly turmoil, in a world they no longer recognise, the ever-changing world swirls around her while she do her best to adapt, all the while, keeping her grace, elegance and dignity.
