I saw so many windows like this on a recent trip to Italy.

It felt nice to draw some and relive some of the happy memories.

As I was drawing this, I also started to think about people and how they sometimes try to hide who they truly are out of fear of rejection or ridicule...

This is your friendly reminder to be your authentic self. Do what makes you happy, say what you feel, wear whatever you want and share your story.

The ones who are meant to be in your life will love you all the more for it.

My name is Kate, and I’m an artist living and creating in Ballarat, Victoria.

I create original artworks inspired by the things that catch my eye, spark my imagination, and bring me joy. I love painting subjects that make me smile, and I hope they bring a smile to your face too.

I love working with both acrylics and oils, as well as graphite and soft pastels. My work includes whimsical animal paintings full of personality, textured abstract paintings, and realistic drawings that celebrate the unique character of their subjects.
