This is a fantastic building in Chippendale in central Sydney. It has so much character to it. It's not young. On the ground floor is a Korean chicken shop. The sun breaking through the dark clouds, the word, Joy, on the building and the One Way sign combined to say something powerful to me that day. Painting it made me realise how complicated the decoration on some of these old buildings is. A real treasure.
