Artwork Description

Bird in Branches captures a fleeting moment of stillness within the complexity of nature. Layered sandblasted glass reveals a bird nestled among intertwining branches, creating depth that changes with every viewing angle. Mounted on a recycled timber and brass base, the piece celebrates tranquillity, resilience, and the quiet beauty often hidden in plain sight.

Artist Bio

Based in Melbourne, I am a hobby artist with a passion for creating contemporary glass sculptures that challenge the way we perceive depth and perspective. Each piece is carefully constructed from individually sandblasted glass panels, layered to create striking three-dimensional illusions that change as the viewer moves around them. Wherever possible, I complement the glass with recycled timber and solid brass, combining precision craftsmanship with sustainable materials. Inspired by geometry, engineering, and playful visual concepts, my work is designed to spark curiosity and invite people to look a little closer.
