High on an edge

This work was inspired by the Dwellingup Region of Western Australia. The Painting depicts how the land under the trees pictured is formed by various layers. The Piece was painted with a plastic card instead of using brushes.

I have always been interested in Art; it was my favourite subject at Primary and High school; where I also took Art History. I went on to University where I completed a Bachelor of Science, but during this item didn’t do any Art, just some crafty card making. Over the last couple of years I have got back into Art using it as a form of expression and therapy while I have been dealing with mental health problems.
